How old are you?
44. I know I look younger than my years. I can thank my genes as well as healthy, gentle living for that. I have never smoked, I quit drinking and I eat a mostly plant-based diet. I try to move my body each and every day. I need 8 hours sleep and make sure I get it.
Where are you from?
Montreal – born and raised – well kinda. I grew up in a suburb north of Montreal. Every inch has been pretty developed but when I was a kid it still had lots of fields and woods. I would go for walks and birdwatch with my father. I got into lots of muddy trouble with my friends (usually dressed up in Anne of Green Gables style dress – we were quite obsessed with LM Montgomery).
I moved to the city for university and have been here ever since. I really love its energy. It is not as uptight or as fast paced as many other cities. When you are in Montreal people will ask you where you like to hang out, not what you do or where you work. I like that. Our restaurants are amazing be they casual or high end. Our music scene nurtures talent like no other. And the view from the mountain tells you everything about our past, present and future.
What is your sexual orientation?
There are so many terms people use to describe themselves when they do not identify as heterosexual or homosexual. I like the word bent because I am definitely not straight and have known that for as long as I can remember.
The content I created and starred in reflects my personal turn-ons and inclinations. I was never gay for pay. In many ways I’m a free spirit and I like to experiment, but for the most part – especially now in my 40s – I know how I like to spend my xxx energy and with whom. Being true to myself is the key to vitality in all spheres of my life – including (and maybe especially) my sexuality.
Are you married? Single?
I’m divorced. A great deal of the photo and video content on my website was created in collaboration with my former husband. For various reasons our marriage ended. It was a very difficult experience, but after lots of personal work and some mindfulness centred therapy, I now have a renewed sense of purpose and optimism as I enter this next phase of my life. I wish for him to have the same.
After over a decade of having a very public sex and romantic life I’m enjoying having a more private one. I do not use this site as a way to meet potential partners. If I wanted to do that I would come out and say it.
Do you have any pets?
Yes! The wonderful brother sister duo of Rufus & Martha.
What are your passions?
I have a passion for holistic living, organic whole foods and sustainable agriculture. I am doing my best to stay focused on the bigger picture of health and the joys of eating well. I feel so good when I make good choices!
I do my best to give back. I am active in social justice issues with sex worker rights and youth empowerment as my main focus.
I used to be in excellent shape – even athletic. I ran 10k races and half-marathon, did hot yoga and regular strength training, but stopped training in 2010 (nothing like divorce to turn you into a depressed couch potato).
It was a challenge, but I’m making my way back to the level of health and fitness that suits me best. Come Spring I expect to be ready to participate in races and physical challenges again.
I love costumes and dressing up. That is one reason I am a huge fan of burlesque. It is also one of the reasons I take Halloween very seriously.
What are your quirks?
I love to take naps. I talk in my sleep – usually in French. I have a particular way I make my bed.
What are your favourite quotes?
There is a vitality, a life-force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action. And because there is only one you in all of time this expression is unique and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open whether you choose to take an art class, keep a journal, record your dreams, dance your story or live each day from your creative source. Above all else, keep the channel open.
Until you lose your reputation, you never realize what a burden it was or what freedom really is.
What are your favourite things?
TV – Current stuff such as OUTLANDER – LOVE LOVE LOVE it so much. Also Elementary, Castle, The Fall, House of Cards and House of Lies. Old stuff like Firefly and Gilmore Girls. And General Hospital. While checking out their 50th anniversary specials I got (re) hooked.
Movies – Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Bull Durham, Clue, The Company of Strangers, Donnie Darko, Finding Nemo, Garden State, The Graduate, Grease (1 & 2 – yes, I said 2 – it’s a Michelle Pfeiffer in spandex thing), The Muppet Movie (old and new), Pride and Prejudice (obviously the Colin Firth version is perfect, but the Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen one is also very lovely), Princess Bride, Rebel Without a Cause, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Roman Holiday and lots of Sci-Fi.
Books – I cannot recommend these enough. They are all must reads!
Make Every Man Want You: How to Be So Irresistible You’ll Barely Keep from Dating Yourself! by Marie Forleo
(not really a dating book – its more about how to live a rich and satisfying life).
I also like biographies. I very much enjoyed those of Louise Brooks and Audrey Hepburn by Barry Paris. Other favourites are Kathy Reichs’ forensic anthropology crime series (I dig the Montreal angle), Steinbeck (I cry every time I read Of Mice and Men), and Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I am addicted to the series and I cannot wait until the next one comes out. The TV series based on the book has surpassed my expectations.
Music – I love female sing-songwriters. Dido is a particular favourite. I also enjoy Lucinda Williams and Cat Power. When I listen to music during a run it’s mostly upbeat pop stuff from the 1950s to today. Lately, I was introduced to some amazing acts in local music scene here in Montreal and my heart has been exposed to such beauty and grit. It’s been quite astounding.
Foods – peanut butter and jam sandwiches, hot and sour soup with lemongrass and tapioca pudding. Not in the same meal though!
Clothes – I find I can’t go wrong with a black knee length pencil skirt! I can dress it up or dress it down depending on the occasion. I adore wearing stockings, thigh highs, and fishnets – especially with cute open toe shoes or stiletto heels. When it comes to just being cosy I love jeans and leggings with big, soft t-shirts and tank tops. On my feet? Jack Purcell’s, ballet slippers or flip flops.
What and who turns you on?
Geeks, go-getters, people who are multi-passionate, music with a slow but strong beat, tattoos, dressing up, playing pretend, water (taking steaming hot baths makes me feel so sexy and skinny dipping makes me feel so free).
Besides my attraction to real-life lovers, I also have crushes on a few people in the public eye. In alphabetical order (I hate playing favourites): Maria Bello, Selma Blair, Steve Carell, Nathan Fillion, and Marisa Tomei. I also have this long time attraction to Jeff Goldblum. Just something about him.
How do you choose your porn recommendations?
By what I find sexy, hot and beautiful. Obviously that is a very personal thing. We each have our own definitions for these terms. For me it is based on a perceived comfort of the models and performers, their freshness and brightness and their smiles. I am drawn to feminist, ethical porn and indie porn because that was the kind of porn I made. I have been able to communicate directly with Courtney Trouble, Sophie Delancey, Shine Louise Houston and Ms Naughty who produce the porn for Indie Porn Revolution, The Art of the Blowjob, Pink & White Productions and Bright Desire so I can say with confidence that they treat their performers with respect and create their working conditions with great consideration while making hot, hot, hot porn.
Can I chat with you?
I do not use IM, but you can always leave a comment at the end of a blog post or article and we can chat about the topic at hand. It is a great way to connect and it also enriches the www.seska.com community experience.
Can I meet you ?
If you would like to meet me , please come to one of the events listed on my website. I post them in my blog.
If you randomly see me out in public, I would rather you did not approach me – especially if I am with children and family. It is not appropriate or respectful.
Where do you get your sex toys?
For the last few years I have been getting my toys from Come As You Are – Canada’s co-operatively run sex toy, book and video store. I really appreciate their approach to sexuality and pleasure so I always feel good getting my toys from them. They are located in Toronto, but they also have a convenient online store.
Can you create a custom video or photoset for me?
I do not offer this service.
Can you send me your picture, your autograph?
I am sorry but I am not able to mail out autographed photos, but I am more than happy to sign autographs in person at the public events listed on my website. If you want to see more pictures of me you should consider getting a membership to my site.
