Colin Firth

I went to see the King’s Speech with my mother over the holidays. She is a bit of pop culture aficionado for the times of her youth and had some little anecdotes about the Royals. She mentioned to me how she thought the real King George VI was thinner and better looking than Colin Firth. I looked at her aghast and said, “you have no idea what Colin Firth means to women of my generation!” But I said it in French because my mother is French.

Gosh, is Mr Firth ever charming in the Newsweek interview.

And wow. Annette Bening. I so adore her.
