Hotel Getaways

I booked myself a hotel in downtown Ottawa for later this month. Since 2018 I’ve lived with my elderly mother. While the arrangement suits us both (especially given both of us have cancer diagnoses and Covid-19 isolation), every few months I like to have a hotel getaway all by myself.

Another time I pampered myself with many facial masks and body scrubs.

During my most recent one, I sat by the pool, read and daydreamed. I also got to spend some time with one of my dearest friends who you may know as my burlesque production partner Miss Sugarpuss who snapped this pic.

I’m not sure what I will do during my next hotel stay, but I do know I will connect with myself as I prepare for my hysterectomy and recovery time.

Every single time I’ve pranced around the room naked and enjoyed every moment of just being me for me.
