Montreal Burlesque Festival

Tomorrow is the first day of the Montreal Burlesque Festival. I am performing as part of the Canadian showcase. I am doing a 1960s inspired number to a French Quebecoise girl group song (Est Ce Que Tu M'aimes by Les Puces). I was putting the finishing touches on my prop today as well as rehearsing (I am sore from doing the Watusi over and over).  I should rehearse a little more tonight but I am going to take a break and paint my toe nails and drink a glass of wine. Its been a long day and it will be a long weekend. I am looking forward to it, but I know I have to pace myself. I usually catch a cold right before or during big weekends like this one. Must eat my veggies and get some decent sleep. I don't know how to post pics from my iPhone to my new blog, but I will post to Twitter some of the highlights and more to the blog once I am home.
