New At My Only Fans

On September 7th, my Only Fans account will be 6-months old! The days and weeks have flown by in many ways, but it's also quite intense and overwhelming. Nearly every waking moment has focused on porn work. I've also done a great deal of reflection.

I've gained clarity on what porn means to me today and what I want my comeback to be like– especially in these uncertain times. I have tried to find my footing in terms of the different platforms and how they work. I think after 6-months of trial and error; I have a decent sense of what I like most about the experience (creating and sharing) and what I don't (trying to figure how to price and sell my content in a very competitive and ever-changing market).

Only Fans Business Models

Most models and performers make a good income on Only Fans by using it as a sexting service. You need many followers to find the few who want to pay to engage with you. Many models hire an assistant to manage their traffic and communications while the models shoot the sexting content. I mean no disrespect to those who choose to work this way. However, it's something I cannot do.

I've had too many people steal my content and pretend to be me. I feel terrible that some folks for years (yes, years) thought they were in an online relationship with me when it was, in fact, some anonymous man. The business model reminds me of this so it's not for me.

Even if it was, the kind of content creation required is particular to a sexting format. I want to create content that has my authentic pleasure at its source. 10-second clips priced at $10-$50 apiece (yes, that is the going sexting rates at Only Fans) isn't genuine for me. So in terms of content, I have found my way. I'm also getting better and better at outside social media to market myself. It turns out I quite like Reddit. At least the subreddits that match my niches. :-)

What has been a greater struggle is the business side of things– the pricing and delivery methods. I do so miss the days of a simple individual membership site charging the same price for the same amount of content. That business model is no longer a thing and I've accepted it.

Only Fans Posting

What I have struggled to accept is that I really shot myself in the foot when I priced my Only Fans so low. I didn't realize those who have free and low priced Only Fans make their income by hustling in the messaging. As I said, that is not my thing. I gave it a try with my experiment with the disappearing new videos, but I found it tedious to post that way. I've been told it's tedious for many of you too. So the good news is that starting this week the videos will remain.

But what is the bad news? I cannot keep going with the low fee. It's the hard truth. I know by raising it I will lose some of you. I feel terrible about that, but I cannot continue at all if I undervalue my content and myself. It just isn't sustainable. The new Only Fans fee will be $10 a month with some lower fees for 3 and 6-month bundles.
