Shazamfest

I'm in a car with a few of the fellas from Bad Uncle. We are on our way to Shazamfest. They are headlining tonight. I will be performing my l Johnny Boy with them. Should be fun. I was last there in 2008 when I performed with Team Burlesque. We had horrible rainy weather that time and both Miss Sugarpuss and L Diablo were feeling very urban and not looking forward to doing burlesque in the mud. Me, I was happy to be heading out to the woods. I am always nostalgic for the outdoor time of my youth. Though if memory serves me correctly I had a stomach flu the day before and had been throwing up all day. I ate tea biscuits during the day of our show. I remember trying to put up my tent only to realize it was so old that the wires broke apart. I ended up sleeping in the car while people outside of me did mushrooms. As for the show itself it was a little wacky. We got dressed in a yurt. Glitter mixed with mud. Not the biggest turn out due to the pouring rain. But the people who were there were great. I have a video of us getting ready. I will try to dig it up. It was quite the little adventure. I expect this one will be one too.
