The Way I Look Is a Choice I Make For Me

The Way I Look Is a Choice I Make For Me

I love to play around with different looks. It’s been a pastime of mine since I got my first make-up palette as a Christmas gift from a glamorous distant cousin. What I’ve discovered over the years is that this play is so precious to me. It’s an expression of my love of transformation and of variety. Just as I enjoy changing up the arrangement of the furniture in my home and having a variety of lovers, I love having different looks.

For my appearance, this play is expressed with different items of clothing, manicures, pedicures, makeup, and hairstyles. Inevitably when I post a photo, no matter the look (no make-up, the no-makeup makeup look, polished, glam, retro or burlesque), there will be someone who will say they prefer me in some other way.

What’s Their Motivation?

I believe they want to encourage me to look the way they prefer me to look. Instead of being direct about this and requesting a custom look, they make a statement. Why do they think this statement will land in a way that will encourage me to style myself in ways they prefer rather than the way I prefer? I don’t know. I just don’t know. It comes off clueless to the nature of my sharing on the web (authentically me for those interested in that sort of thing) at best. At worst it’s disrespectful and passive-aggressive.

My Looks Are For Me

My looks are for my pleasure first and foremost. I express myself with my appearance and this act is foundational for my sense of self. Iy reflects who I am as an individual at that moment in my life. It reflects my age and my physical, psychological and emotional journey. When I share a photo of myself and you tell me that you prefer for me to look different it shows me you do not understand me. It says to me that you value me more so on your terms than my own. As an erotic entertainer, I hope to arouse and titillate my paying my customers unless the service or product is custom to you how I style myself will be inspired by my own tastes and delights.

Bottom Line

Unless someone is paying me for an exclusive block of time for a private live cam show or for custom photos or video, I have no motivation to style myself in ways that don’t appeal to me at the moment in time. There is labour involved in styling choices and my reward for my time and effort is my pleasure.

If you want me styled a specific way pay for an exclusive show or purchase custom content. Collaborating with you for such things is something I truly enjoy. Being told how you wish I would look without being compensated is something I don’t enjoy.

From now on I’m going to be direct when someone tells me “I look pretty but I prefer you…” and ask if they would like a custom photo or video with their preferred look.
